Prabhu Deva, who is a son of South Indian choreographer Mugur Sundar, debuted as actor and as choreographer through the 1988 Tamil film “Agni Natchathiram”. He debuted in Tollywood as choreographer with “Lankeswarudu” in 1989 and as an actor with “Rakshana” in 1993. Later, he acted in several Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies.

He turned director with Siddharth’s 2005 Telugu movie “Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana”, which was a big hit at the box office. Then onwards, there was no look back for this multi-tasking South star. He has worked as actor, director, writer and choreographer in many movies in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi and some of them have proved to be blockbusters at the ticket counters.

He was last seen as an actor in Telugu in the 2008 film “Michael Madana Kamaraju”. He is ready to return to act in a Telugu film after seven years. He has agreed to work in Vijay’s next film. “Vijay approached Prabhu Deva and bounced off a storyline sometime ago. Prabhu loved it and is fine tuning the details of the plot with the director.

The reports also suggest that this yet-to-be title film will simultaneously be made and released in Telugu and Tamil. The experts in Tamil and Telugu film industries feel that Prabhu Deva has a large number of admirers in both the languages and the movie will be definitely big in both Tollywood and Kollywood box office.
